(Happiness on a twig.
Something very happy has happened here at home: my orange tree blossoms! it was a bit unhappy in my last flat, where it was pretty dark and limited room near the window. Our new window here in Årsta is larger, and our flat is a bit higher up in the house, so the sun finds its way inside easier. This flower felt like such a miracle when I first saw it! (Involuntarily I made a little shriek of joy that made the slacker in the couch in the background of the picture jump!) In the evening the smell is seductive, I imagine it's like a Mediterranean garden at dusk.)
(I've been a bit worried about the orange tree. I've had it for six years now, and it's very dear to me. It feels good to see it's alright again. More flowers are on their way.)
Och nya skott skjuter ut åt alla håll. Underbart, helt och hållet underbart.
(And new sprouts come out everywhere. Wonderful, totally wonderful. )
