Skrivmaskin och nya block.

Denna vackra pjäs blev min till ett så osannolikt pris att ni nog nästan inte kommer att tro det. En secondhandaffär mamma och jag ränner i skulle byta lokaler och reade ut allt de hade kvar, så man fick fylla stora påsar med grejer mot tjugo kronor. Min påse rymde massor, ändå fanns det plats kvar för denna fantastiska skrivmaskin! jag kunde inte motstå den, hur sannolikt skulle det vara att hitta en skrivmaskin till det priset igen? min pappa (som antagligen är världens händigaste människa) hjälpte mig att fixa upp den, och nu fungerar den riktigt bra fast några typer hakar lite ibland.


(This beautiful piece turned mine at such an unlikely price that you probably won't believe it. A secondhand shop my mother and I use to visit was about to change adress and saled off all that was left. They let people fill giant bags with stuff for just a couple of coins. My bag had room for lots of nice stuff, yet there was still room over for this amazing typewriter! I could not resist it, how likely would it be to find a typewriter at that price again? my father (who is probably the most handy person in the world) helped me fix it, and now it works quite smooth despite some types that are still a bit stubborn.)





Jag är svag för skrivmaskiner. Det är kanske lite som med LP-skivor, det känns så gammalt och hederligt. Och så tycker jag att texten blir så snygg.


(I have a weakness for typewriters. Maybe it's a bit like the LP records, it feels so old fashioned and nice. And I think that the typeface is so beautiful.)




Jag gjorde två block idag inför skolstarten på måndag.

(I made two notebooks today for first day of school on Monday.)







Det är kul att använda mönstrat papper tycker jag, och grafiska former blir intressanta när man klipper ut oväntade mönster. Och det är lite extra roligt att börja skolan när man har fina block att ha med sig. Visst blev de trevliga?


(It's fun to use patterned paper, I think. And graphic forms become interesting when you cut out unexpected patterns. And there are some extra fun in starting school when you have nice notebooks to bring along. They turned out quite nice, didn't they?)

(The courses I will be reading are called "Children's and young adult's litterature and aesthetics" and "The theory of literature in practice". :)
